"I’m an athlete, a teacher, a volunteer, a new mom... a busy woman! I would let my hectic lifestyle take over and even though I did activities I enjoyed, it was partially to stay in shape and to keep busy. When I did my boudoir shoots, I’ve realized that I am more than a busybody, someone who just needs to get things done. I’m someone with wants, needs, and deserves to not feel guilty about working on myself or doing something nice for myself. I began taking more time in my daily routine and actually enjoying my athletic activities and remembering they are for fun, not just to keep the day going. It may sound odd, but doing the shoot and seeing myself in a whole new light led me to take better care of myself overall, which in turn made everything else in my life run even more smoothly.
